Upgrading and Remodelling of the Commission's website.
The upgraded INEC website was commissioned in February 2019 ahead of the 2019 General Elections.
The website was developed and designed using the following specifications:
- Improved Aesthetic front end, with modern view, high quality image view and constituency in alignment of the textual content with relevant content.
- A light, flexible, services-oriented website that anticipates the reasons for the users visits based on electoral cycle and events of the Commission.
- Implementation of scalable security layers to enhance the site’s security.
- Short and explicated videos that explain the electoral activities.
- Responsive across all mobile platforms like android and IOS operating systems.
- Notification system for stale page content that alerts administrators at scheduled time when any content needs to be reviewed, updated or archived.
